If you read his Little Green Book of crazy-ass sayings, it's clear that he was completely honest. All Muslims believe that sick craziness, but at least Khomeini was real about it. The reason Muslim men grow up to be like they do is because of their malignantly narcissistic mothers who encourage and foster it, combined with gender apartheid, which only further facilitates it and leads to a mental association between women/sexuality and evil/dirtiness, and of course the Koran and the Hadith only serve to pound this into their heads and validate these sick beliefs/feelings. The women buy into it as much as the men. That's how the whole cycle comes to perpetuate itself. It's not like Muslim fathers ever take an active role in child-rearing. Islam does treat women as prostitutes. While mahr (dowry) exists in many cultures, Islam makes it as a payment for the lgeal access of the woman's body and doesn't consider dowry as a marriage token like a wedding ring in western culture. We can see that dowry is only a payment for the woman's body from the divorce case. In Islamic divorce, the woman can keep the dowry and get nothing. The woman has the right to keep the dowry because her husband has had sex with her, if he has not had sex, then he does not have to pay the dowry, at least in full term. There is a fatwa (or hadith, I don't remember) that says if a man has sex with a woman by mistake because he thinks she is his wife, then he has to pay the dowry. Very much like sleeping with a pro, right? Btw, the maximum value for the dowry should not more than what Mo had paid for which was 400 dirhams, I estimate it is about 2-300 USD in current value. With that much money, a muslim can have sex any time in an unlimited number and can treat his wife the way he likes, it is much much much cheaper to have a wife than go to a pro.
