Shaky Sheikh Story

E-mail Print PDF

Father & SonThe following article appeared in the Melbourne Herald Sun printed edition, Saturday 7th February, buried in a side column, way back on page 12. It relates to an incident involving the son of Sheik Fehmi Naji el-Imam last September.

I’ve done an internet search for anything related to the story but have been unable find any mention of it. (If any reporting of this event exists, I will stand corrected but make the point - it’s still damned hard to find!) The article did not appear on the web edition. I had to hand type it.

So, for all intents and purposes, “it didn’t happen” in September, it has no electronic footprint and is tucked away on page 12, from where it will be consigned to the dust-bin of history, presumably. The Herald Sun was preoccupied, that day, with a footballer punching another footballer – 3 pages plus photos. While on the Herald Sun: kudos to Mark Dunn, for getting this in to print at all; Mark does a very good job of reporting on islamic “excess” and we owe him a debt for what little exposure of islam there is in MSM, Victoria.

Son of Mufti bashed

Mark Dunn

Ahmed ImamThe son of Australia’s highest ranking Islamic cleric was taken to hospital after being bashed in an attack believed to have been carried out by hardline Muslims.
Ahmed Imam, son of Australia’s Mufti, Sheik Fehmi Naji el-Imam, was set upon by what is believed to have been a small group of men near the Preston mosque late last year.
Police have investigated the case but have not laid any charges, with Mr Imam reportedly unable to recollect any details of the incident.
Mr Imam –also Chief Executive of The Islamic Council of Victoria – was reluctant to discuss the attack when contacted yesterday but confirmed he was bashed and taken to hospital.
A source familiar with the assault told The Herald Sun the attackers were fundamentalist Muslims who took issue with Mr Imam’s involvement in the former SBS program Salaam Café, which often made light-hearted comments about Islamic issues.
“The people have not been apprehended – that would be hypothesising,” Mr Imam said when asked about a motive for the attack. “I don’t really want to discuss it. It’s probably not appropriate for me to say anything at this point.”
Members of the local Islamic community believe the assault was carried out by men who were angered at the way Salaam Café addressed some religious and cultural issues with comedy.
“That has been floated, along with a number of other things,” a police source said.
The attack occurred in late September, towards the end of Ramadan, Islam’s holy month.

There are many issues arising from this report but I think a bit of background might be of use, for those unfamiliar with “the state of play” in Oz, demonstrating the ground this is being played out on.

The recent post by Cassandra – “Problem:Terror - Solution:Interfaith!” – highlights the ludicrous nature of “our response” to the Ahmed Imam on the set possibility of terrorists in Australia: Be nice to them, don’t criticise them, stop people asking “too hard” questions, demonise critics, legislate against those who cry “foul” - install fox in supervisory role of hen house.

Not only are we facing a likely scenario of “home-grown terrorists”, (conservative estimates say a possible 10% may be prone to such), we are also being confronted with growing evidence of an obdurate and non-compliant population of “peaceful, mainstream” muslims, whose demands for special category status are mounting, rather than diminishing, as you might expect from a  loyal citizenry. Recent anti-Israeli demonstrations on the streets of Melbourne give ample indication of how “peaceful” their intentions are.

Much faith has been placed in “the fox” by our leaders. They are touted all over Australia as “moderates” and we are often told that the best possible way of preventing “the radicalisation of young muslims” will come from encouraging these sly old foxes, by empowering them,  by “reaching out”, by giving them de facto powers over the ordinary citizen….by paying them lots of money.
It doesn’t seem to have been very effective – the son of “Australia’s” most “moderate” islamic leader is bashed outside the mosque… and he doesn’t seem able to help the police?

Some random quotes:
  •  “The real message of Islam has been hijacked by many people throughout history. These people defamed our religion and portrayed Islam incorrectly. The time has come to understand the true message of the Quran as revealed to our beloved prophet Mohamed PBUH.”
  • “Many articles were written, especially in the aftermath of September 11, about how the religion of Islam has been hijacked by a small group of terrorists. This is absolutely correct. The Quran, the holy scripture of Muslims, contains no justification for terrorism and killing innocent people.”
  • “(He said) Muslim communities "have seen their religion hijacked by a group of ideologues."
  •  “Why is there a debate about what the true image of Islam is? There is debate in our mind. But the perception of others about Islam indicates to us that what they perceive is not what we really believe is the real Islam. We have Islam that has been hijacked, tampered with, and projected according to sometimes bias of special agendas, or just mere ignorance.”
Hijacked Hijackers
And who hijacked those poor hijackers?

Stop me, if you’ve heard it before! There are, of course, millions more of these “Islam has been hijacked” claims. Here’s “Google” on the subject -  search results; 5,400,000 for islam has been hijacked

This has all come about, for most people, in the islamicly-imposed “Post 9/11 climate” when, world-wide, people began to demand islam moderate itself; that it willingly undergo some process of self-critique and self-moderation that would civilise it; that it undergo an internal process leading to an islamic “renaissance”, of any form, which would allow the rest of the world to look on islam as other than the murderous cult is has always presented itself as.

Any such reform would, of course, have to be internal, as muslims point-blank refuse to allow kufar to meddle with their books. Their ‘god’ won’t even allow friendship with the non-believer.

It will come as no surprise to those with an ear to the ground that the silence from all islamic quarters is deafening. Far from “moderation”, we are inundated with demand upon demand, from changes to Foreign Policy, changes to policing, changes to treatment under Common Law, changes to relations with Allies - the never-ending “creeping Sharia”.

Rather than doing the needful, of course, muslims have reached for the victim card – “we wuz robbed!” - they’ve been declaring, ever since Muhammad hijacks Islam9/11. “Western media defames us” – “It’s all a matter of context!!!”

Naturally it is too contentious and far too dangerous to make the point…. “we wuz robbed by… OUR IMAMS, MULLAHS, SHEIKS and “CLERICS”.

On any level, corporate or personal, this shirking of responsibility, the outright refusal to accommodate any such notion as moderation, has come to represent, in most eyes, an official stance of refusal. The evidence is clear – islam will not consider any modification to its holy texts or the culture spawned from submitting to them.

Ever since this appeal to a “moderate islam” began to be heard, most of the effort has been taken up by Western governments, establishing “commission” and “peak body” and “advisory board”, all of which accomplished only this:
  • Increased multi-cultural propaganda.
  • Increased legislation against islamic critics.
  • A legitimising of islamic demands.
  • The enfranchising of unelected officials.
  • Access to government in areas of domestic policy making for muslims.
  • Access to the public purse.
Apart from exercises instigated by western governments and paid for by the kufar tax-payer, I can think of no initiative started by muslims, aimed at accommodating western concerns.

I must stress, there is virtually NO EFFORT aimed at modernising islam, from muslim quarters or government but, those “professional muslims” who pay lip-service to these calls, such as Yasser Soliman and Waleed Aly, have put any responsibility for “civilising” the Koranic texts - and any exegesis that flows from those texts - solely in the hands of islam’s nebulous “mullocracy”.

Knowing full-well that no Imam or Sheik worth his salt would ever consider changing one iota of the Koranic Trilogy, this is tantamount to a refusal. At best it is misdirection.

These are, after all, the very clerics who brought the world to our present jihad-alert state, of frayed nerves and constant fear lest we offend, while islamists run rough-shod over our society.

Given the “mullocracy’s” avowed hatred of “kufar” and the denizens of Da'ar el-Harb the result could hardly be otherwise, could it?  Foxes and hen-houses.

Thus we’ve arrived at the point where, far from attempts to modernise, the world is currently enduring vehement calls for just the opposite – a legally mandated, world-wide conformity to the most fundamental, primitive form of islam – Sharia and Wahhabism. Recent edicts from the United Nations to the effect of isolating islam from criticism should send chills down the spine of all who value freedom. The din from Australia’s new rabble is as deafening as in any country infected by islam.

In Australia , post 9/11, we saw the emergence of  “home grown” clerics waging the same war – the non-violent jihad of words. Skaf Brothers
Our Government started to “recognise” various Islamic leaders and these men began to assume positions of great influence in our society. Prior to 9/11 I’d be willing to bet 99% of Australians did not know there was such a thing as “the Grand Mufti of Australia”. Now, there are Muftis and Mullahs and Sheiks everywhere!

The emergence of “the Sheik” as a player on Australia’s political stage has its own background of outrage and abuse:

After 9/11

  • Bilal and Mohammed Skaf: brought us “the good news” of islam, via rape gangs engaging in punishment rape - punishment of Australian girls for being kufar sluts.
  • The "K" Brothers - Mohammed Saheem K, Mohammed Ali K, Mohammed Mussawar K and Mohammed Rehan K - perpetrated a series of attacks involving the indecent assault and rape of as many as eighteen women in the Ashfield, New South Wales, area in late 2001 and over a six month period in 2002.

These acts were a precursor to the now infamous responses from islamic leaders across the nation; most notable - the “cat meat” statement of:

Sheikh Taj El-Din Hamid Hilaly:
  • “If you take out uncovered meat and place it outside on the street, or in the garden or in the park, or in the backyard without a cover, and the cats come and eat it ... whose fault is it, the cats' or the uncovered meat? The uncovered meat is the problem. If she was in her room, in her home, in her hijab, no problem would have occurred.” (reference)

We entered a period where Australians discovered that, yes… indeedy,… a WHOLE LOT OF SHEIKIN’ GOIN’ ON! (reference)

Mohammed Swaiti
  1. “The ACT Islamic Society is in court today seeking an order to ban an imam from a Canberra mosque after aSwaiti wild brawl inside the mosque left a man hospitalised”
  2. “But this imam is not friendly person. Is very rude and arrogant person, and he preaching Islam how it suit to him.” (reference)
  3. “Hardline Islamic cleric Mohammed Swaiti has forced his way back into Canberra's only mosque to preach anti-western messages after he was sacked for praising jihadists. The cleric used his predominantly Palestinian and Jordanian support base to topple the leaders in charge of Abu Bakr Mosque in Yarralumla. This has allowed Sheik Swaiti to continue preaching Wahabbism - a fundamentalist strand of Islam espoused by Osama bin Laden.”  (reference)
 Sheik Faiz Mohammed
  1.  “…has advocated offering children "as soldiers defending Islam ... teach them this, there's nothing more beloved to me than wanting to die as a mujahid, a holy warrior".
  2. "A victim of rape every minute somewhere in the world.  Why?  No one to blame but herself".
  3. “Sheik Mohammed said that being a disbeliever is filth, and then made pig noises after stating that Jews are pigs that will be killed at the end of the world.”
  4. Sheik Mohammed is wanted internationally, for terrorism-related offenses. His notorious videos shocked the world when aired on YouTube. Feiz Mohamed was employed by the Lakemba mosque and recently it came to light that a “youth center” in Liverpool NSW, was operating under his “guidance”. Attempting to build another unwanted mosque, against huge community opposition, they removed all trace of Feiz Mohamed….5 years after his infamy brought shame on Australia.
Feiz
Sheikh Feiz Muhammad:  "Kaffir is the worst word ever written, a sign of infidelity, disbelief, filth, a sign of dirt."

Sheikh Mohammed Omran
  1.  “…following the London attacks, he disputed the incontrovertible conclusion that the terrorists responsible were Muslim.
  2. “…. disputed links between the world’s most infamous terrorist, Osama bin Laden himself, and the 9/11 attacks, arguing, "I don’t believe that even 11 September… I don’t believe that it was done by any Muslim at all… I dispute Omranany evil action linked to bin Laden." Instead, Omran has stated his belief that the 9/11 attacks were instead orchestrated by the US — an "inside job," in his words.
  3. “…Omran has a devoted group of followers aged 17 to 24 among his inner circle, who, according to a former member, are all "willing to strap themselves up" to become suicide bombers. “They’re getting brainwashed by him," said the source, who went unnamed in the article for fear of retribution. According to the Melbourne man, Omran praised suicide bombers and adamantly criticised Australia as "rubbish because women walk down the street not wearing veils and the men drink."
  4. “Omran’s disciples supported past terrorist attacks in New York, Bali, Madrid and London. Most frighteningly, the men, according to the source, "say openly it is the duty of Muslims to help their Muslim brothers and sisters and if that means being a martyr then do it. If it means they’ve got to strap up and go overseas, then they’ll do it." Omran’s vitriolic preachings thus have a captive and receptive audience in his Brunswick mosque” - where you could buy -
  5. Several texts preach a mantra of "disassociation and enmity with the people of falsehood and disbelief in Islaam," [Al-Walaa’ wal-Bara’ by Sheikh Saalih bin Fouzan al-Fouzan, cover] among which are included the People of the Book (Jews and Christians) and the "hypocrites." [Al-Wala’ Wa’l-Bara’: According to the ‘Aqeedah of the Salaf, Part 2, by Muhammad Saeed al-Qahtani, p. 195.] These disbelievers, according to these radical theologians, pose an imminent threat, and Muslims must take up the Islamic call to action (da’wah) and even jihad, or holy war, to combat them.”

Abul Nacer Benbrika
  1. The worst entry on Benbrika I have seen is on Wikipedia, where he is described as “an Australian Muslim Benbrikaactivist.”
  2. Jailed for a minimum of 12 years under Commonwealth legislation, with a maximum of 15 years, Benbrika “…was one of 17 men arrested in the Australian cities of Sydney and Melbourne in November 2005, and charged with membership of a terrorist organisation and of planning terrorist attacks on targets within Australia. Benbrika is alleged to be the spiritual leader of the group. Lawyers for Benbrika and the other men arrested have denied all the charges. On 15th of September 2008 Benbrika was found guilty on the charge of intentionally being the leader and a member of a terrorist organisation.”
  3.  “….why so many of his hearers believed the teachings of Abdul Nacer Benbrika. If they didn't catch them as one might catch a cold, what did happen? Could it be that what he said resonated with what they knew of the teachings of the Qur'an, Hadith and Sira? Of course, no one wants to admit that, because no one wants to deal with its implications.”
There are many more; every State now has its own Mullah of notoriety.

In 2005, in a climate of mistrust and mounting tensions, the Australian government established the Muslim Community Reference Group. The group’s members:
1. Dr Ameer Ali, President, Australian Federation of Islamic Councils
2. Sheikh Taj Al-Din Al-Hilali, Mufti of Australia (appointed by AFIC)
3. Dr Mohammad Taha Al Salami, President, Iraqi Islamic Council of Australia
4. Mr Ali Roude OAM, Acting President, Islamic Council NSW
5. Ms Iktimal Hage Ali, NSW Youth Advisory Council
6. Ms Aziza Abdulhalim, President, Muslim Women’s National Network Australia
7. Dr Amin Hady, Imam of Zetland Mosque
8. Mr Hassan Bazzi, President, Al Zahra Muslim Association
9. Sheikh Shafiq Rahman Abullah Khan, Chairman, Australian Islamic Cultural Centre
10. Sheikh Fehmi Naji El Imam, Imam, Islamic Society of Victoria
11. Mr Malcolm Thomas, President, Islamic Council of Victoria (which voted for Hilali as Mufti)
12. Mr Yasser Soliman, Member, Council for Multicultural Australia (who formerly led the ICV, which voted for Hilali).
13. Ms Yasmin Khan, President, I-CARE (Islam Care)
14. Mr Hajji Abdul Rahman (Ray) Deen, Executive Committee, Australian Federation of Islamic Councils, (which selected Hilali).

As an aside, here are the members of that group who are on the record as supporting Hezbollah, or calling for it to be recognised as legitimate:

  • Hassan Bazzi: “Death to the enemies, long life for the Lebanese resistance.”
  • Ameer Ali (group chairman):  “According to our views even the military wing [of Hezbollah] is not a terrorist organisation… They should not condemn Hezbollah as a terrorist group.”
  • Sheik Hilali : “I blessed Hizbullah for liberating the prisoners and the bones of the Shahids and I praised it and its sacrifice. Hizbullah has become a model for all the Mujahideen in the world. Most of the Australian people do not support the policy of the Australian government, which has placed Hizbullah on the terror list out of submission to the U.S., and the Australian prime minister will pay the price for this in the next elections.”
  • (Note!) Sheik Fehmi Naji el-Imam: “Long live freedom fighters [Hezbollah]… But we have to remember that we are still proud of what is taking place in Lebanon… We are proud of the freedom fighters.”
  • Yasser Soliman: According to The Australian, “Mr Soliman said the Howard Government needed to justify to Australian citizens why Hezbollah was a terrorist organisation. ‘We’ve seen more innocent deaths at the hands of Israel than we have seen of Hezbollah,’ he said, before asking why the Israeli military was not also classified as a terrorist organisation. “Mr Soliman criticised the ‘coalition of the willing’, of which Australia is a member, as the ‘coalition of the killing’.”

At the time, Andrew Bolt asked a question most Australians were asking, “Why are a third of the Prime Minister’s handpicked Muslim Community Reference Group open supporters of this terrorist outfit (Hezbollah)?  Shouldn’t they be sacked immediately?”

So, there’s a brief background, a portrait of “the climate” in Oz, post 9/11. In public consciousness, I think it is fair to say, everything most Australians were feeling in regards to Islam was crystallized and encapsulated in the Hilali-diatribe period.
Islam had the actions of Feiz Mohamed and the Skaf boys, the mouth of Keysar Trad and the words of Hilali – that was islam. More was to come!

In support of terror
From left: Ameer Ali, Al-Hilaly,  Yasser Soliman and Waleed Aly - Moderate terrorist supporters

Hilali was castigated, but only by Australian politicians, journos, shock-jocks etc.
There was, of course, no small amount of taqiya to wade through, from the apologists and deniers. This period saw the full public emergence of Keysar Trad onto the national stage; Keysar, who improved the Australian lexicon with much needed clarifications of the meanings and subtleties of “context”. As in, “taken out of…”

We were now in a period where there was an “official” semi-demand for change. Amidst a national furore over Hilali’s outrageous comments, he was replaced by
Sheik Fehmi Naji el-Imam (See “The Fehmi fantasy” ,Contributed by Circe Friday, 03 October 2008)

What they say:
Various sources Australia-wide describe him in glowing terms. Here are some examples;
  • “… has worked tirelessly to promote tolerance and harmony.”
  • “… to realise the ideal of a multi-faith and multi-cultural Australia.”
  •  “… in a way that promotes co-operation, promotes understanding, promotes mutual interest and reduces fear.”
  • “… will be working … for the benefit of the Muslims and the broader Australian community.”

Across Australia it is hard to find a muslim group with a bad word to say about Fehmi, except any “spokesman” for the Lakemba Mosque.
Fehmi, is hailed as “a man of peace”, praised widely for his “peaceful faith”.

Sheikh Fehmi Iman -  “Islam is the clear clean page which doesn't change. It didn't change in the past, is not changing now, it will not change in the future.”
  • “In his first day in the job, Fehmi stuck by his long-standing view questioning whether bin Laden was behind the 2001 attacks.”   Despite these remarks regarding the September 11 attacks and others, concerning Hezbollah, Sheik Fehmi continues to be presented as a moderate Islamic leader “who has often spoken out against terrorism.”
  • “Yesterday, Sheik Fehmi, 79, said his predecessor had been misunderstood. He said Sheik Hilaly's comments comparing scantily-clad women to "uncovered meat" who invited rape was meant only for a Muslim audience.” Australia's newly appointed Mufti, Sheikh Fehmi Naji el-Imam, says he wants to embrace the media in his role as a bridge between Muslim Australians and the broader community. He said Sheikh Hilali had sometimes "let his tongue go too far" but added that the media had a responsibility to be tolerant and open-minded in its reporting of minority groups who could find it difficult to communicate their views.
  •  Sheikh Naji’s record speaks for itself. He officially supported the application for residency of Abdul Nacer Benbrica.
  • On the followers of Abdul Nacer Benbrika: "Generally, I know them very well (Please take careful note of that admission) and they are good. They used to come to the mosque, they carried out their duties here and shared in the services. They came in and out peacefully. No problem whatsoever," he said. "That why I don't understand what they were involved in outside."
And so, Australia was delivered a “mufti” who represented all the good things our Government wanted us to believe about islam. The Preston mosque was being presided over by a smiling, “gentle” old grandfatherly figure, eager to assure us…that “islam had been hijacked.”
Where “Lakemba” had come to mean violence, support for terrorism, rejection of Australian law and calls for re-establishment of a “Caliphate”, Preston is to become synonymous with “peace”.

Best Mates
Fehmi is a strong supporter of Sheik Hilali

So, how can it be, that Sheik Fehmi Naji el-Imam’s son is bashed so severely that he required hospitalisation?

How can it be, that this occurred at Preston mosque?

No person can enter a mosque without scrutiny. We at AIM know of cases where people have tried to infiltrate mosques and have been apprehended before entry was made. Muslims are also “security conscious” and the impossibility of entering a mosque unknown to their members is as sure as the sun rising tomorrow.

The atmosphere in a mosque is “convivial”; it is friend to friend; it is social, after the prayers and sermon – it is community.
Fehmi himself admits to knowing Benbrika and his fellow terrorists well. Everybody at the Preston mosque knew those men, until they stopped attending.

Fehmi’s son has a senior role in the mosque. He knows everyone, as does his father, yet he can claim not to know his assailants? He can feign ignorance of radicalism in the Oz muslim community but his acolytes can assert that “the attackers were fundamentalist Muslims who took issue with Mr Imam’s involvement in the former SBS program Salaam Café, which often made light-hearted comments about Islamic issues.”

Did this come completely out of the blue? Hardly; Salaam Café had already aired its first season; conversations about Ahmed Imam’s role in Salaam Café must have occurred several times, for it to have become so heated.

The son of the most senior Imam in Australia can tell the press, “I don’t really want to discuss it.” yet an associate has no hesitation is stating the perpetrators were “fundamentalist Muslims”.

The source of their complaint was known, in other words. Are we expected to believe these men are not known to many in the Preston mosque?

Men bashed him, right up close and personal, after a heated discussion on his television role but he is “unable to recollect any details of the incident.”

Protecting Hijackers

Perhaps the punches were “taken out of context”!

Somewhat facetiously, I’ll also ask, “If Salaam Café is so contentious it is upsetting certain elements of the muslim community…. Why is it being aired? Why is the tax-payer forced to fund something that is potentially as dangerous as…. a Mohamed cartoon?

I have labored the point, I know. The conclusions are obvious.

So much for Australian Muslim leadership doing everything in their power to stop radicalisation.
So much for them assisting in the apprehension of would-be terrorist.

Let’s face it, asking the muslim to police themselves, to report radicalised members, to alert authorities over radicalised attitudes and actions, is …. Like asking them to moderate the Koran. It is never going to happen.

The question remains…. Why is our Government still looking to these people for help?

We don’t need an ‘all things to all men government”. We need leaders who can take responsible action.

History - Violent Jihad

Australians celebrate and revere Anzac Day on April 25th each year in remembrance of our brave soldiers who fought in two great world wars to secure our freedom. Every Australian identifies with the slogan “lest we forget” and in services held around the country people reflect on the battles and men who died to secure our freedom. Yet across the world in France, there is one remarkable battle which helped form the Europe we know today and allowed the development of civilization based on Judeo Christian principles. This one famous battle has become known as the battle of Tours and effectively stopped the Muslim advance into Europe. After the death of Mohammed in 632AD, Muslim armies exploded out of the Arabian peninsula to conquer much of the Middle East, expanding across north Africa. From there they crossed into Spain in 711AD and eventually controlled much of al-Andalus by 715AD. It was the victory at Tours by Charles Martel that stemmed the tide and eventually the Muslim marauders were expelled from Spain in 1492 when the last outpost at Granada fell to King Ferdinand of Spain.

Perhaps some readers might be interested to know that January 28 is considered a feast day among Catholics – actually 2 feast days are celebrated on the same day – one is of ST Thomas Aquinas, the great medieval theologian and philosopher who adapted Aristotle to the western Judeo-Christian worldview. . It is also the feast day of a lesser known person – St Peter Nolasco, the great ransomer of captives from the Muslims.

Barbary Corsair
Somalian Islamic Pirates & Lessons from History

The dramatic rescue of the American cargo-ship captain Richard Phillips from the hands of Somalian Islamic pirates by the U.S. Navy—killing three pirates, holding him hostage at gun-point, through precision-targeting—warrants a review of the U.S. struggle with piracy and hostage-taking in North Africa, which ended two centuries ago.

Raiding trade-caravans and hostage-taking for extracting ransom in Islam was started by Prophet Muhammad. Having become powerful and secure after his relocation to Medina from Mecca in 622, Muhammad initiated Jihad or holy war in the form of raids of trade-caravans for earning livelihood for his community. In the first successful raid of a Meccan caravan at Nakhla in December 623, his brigands killed one of the attendants, took two of them captive, and acquired the caravan as “sacred” booty. The captives were ransomed to generate further revenue. Muhammad, later on, expanded this mode of Jihad to raiding non-Muslim communities around Arabia—for capturing their homes, properties and livestock, capturing their women and children as slaves often for ransoming and selling, and imposing extortional taxes—which sometimes involved mass-slaughter of the attacked victims.

Battle of Broken Hill Logo

The First Islamic Terrorist Attack on Australian Soil

On January 1, 1915 two Broken Hill men, both former camel drivers, armed themselves with rifles, an homemade flag bearing Islamic insignia and a large supply of ammunition and launched a surprise attack on the Picnic Train about 3 kilometres outside Broken Hill.

The train carried about 1200 Broken Hill residents to Silverton where a picnic to celebrate the new year was to take place.

The two Muslim men, Gool Mohamed originally a Pashtun tribesman from Afghanistan and Mullah Abdullah from what is known today as Pakistan, decided to wage jihad against Australian infidels after Australia and the Ottoman Empire officially joined the opposite sides in the WWI.

Alhambra - GazelleHow often in conversation with a Muslim, do they quote Spain as the crowning achievement of Islam, where Muslims, Jews and Christians lived in harmony for about 800 years?

And when you mention the killings and massacres, you are told that the Spanish Inquisition was much worse.
This is a misconception, since the Inquisition in Spain was responsible for only between 4,000 and 5,000 lives. [1]

Yet in 1066AD, in a single day, muslims murdered over 4,000 Jews because Vizier Joseph ibn Naghrela had risen to a position greater than them, and of course, this upset the Muslim sensitivities. [2]

History - Imperialism

Decisive Victory for the West

At this time of year, it is timely to remember one of the greatest victories of the west against the Islamic world. On the 7th October in 1571, Don Juan and the Holy League, led by Admiral Doria, defeated the larger Ottoman fleet in the Battle of Lepanto, saving Europe from the Turks and militant Islam. The Holy League was a coalition of different armies - of the Republic of Venice, the Papacy (under Pope Pius V), Spain (including Naples, Sicily and Sardinia), the Republic of Genoa, the Duchy of Savoy, the Knights Hospitaller and some others.

History - Stolen Heritage

Jerusalem - Coat of ArmsWhy do Muslims insist that Jerusalem is their Holy City?
When Mohamed and his faithful followers moved from Mecca to Medina, they found themselves among three Jewish tribes/clans (BANU-L-NADIR, BANU KAINUKA and BANU KURAIZA)  which settled there some time after their expulsion from their homeland and also living there were  two Arab, pagan tribes.
