Recent events in the Middle East have brought one UN body, UNRWA, into sharp focus. Now UNRWA or the UN Relief and Works Agency, is headquartered in Gaza and was established in 1948 to provide relief work to refugees fleeing Israel. [1]In the video on UNRWA you will see:
- 1.The UN Commissioner General Karen Koning AbuZayd claiming that HAMAS did not violate the truce and a graph showing Hamas actually fired 120 rockets into Israel;
- 2.Young school kids, products of UNRWA schools, chanting Jihadi statements towards Israel
- 3.an UNRWA official denying rockets were fired from a UNRWA building, and a video of a rocket firing from the base of the building;
- 4.HAMAS fighters using UN ambulances to transport their fighters
- 5.Houses that Israel built in the early 1970’s to accommodate the refugees but which have been ignored by UNRWA and left vacant.
UNRWA provides services such as Health, Civil engineering and Education to the refugees of Gaza. [1]
UNRWA has an annual budget of $400M of which the USA contributes 25% or $100M and the UK contributes 27.9M. Not a single Arab oil producing country contributes to their “brothers” in Gaza.
UNRWA Schools
The Palestinian education system is funded through the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA). The UNRWA employs some 18,000 Palestinians in over 250 schools it operates in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
But UNRWA-paid teachers in UNRWA-built schools are teaching from textbooks with anti-Semitic, anti-Israeli and anti-coexistence indoctrination.
- Examples:
- a seventh grade textbook includes the question on the poem “the Shahid” in which statements are asked, “which of the following is the meaning of the expression ‘honourable death’?”. The answer choices are a) death from illness, b) sudden death or c) death from martyrdom (shahada) while defending the homeland”.
- From a seventh grade textbook, National Education, a question:- “how many Palestinian villages have been destroyed and replaced by imperialist settlements?”.
- Maps of Palestine do not include Israel. This seems to be denying the very existence of Israel as a nation.
Israeli Elections and Land for Peace
Most famous is the 1938 deal brokered in part by Neville Chamberlain where he persuaded Czeckoslovakia to surrender the Sudetenland to Germany and Hitler invaded and captured the country the next year.
World leaders, including Barak Obama and Hiliary Clinton are pursuing another deal to create a separate state by having Israel give up even more land.
When do we learn the lesson. Land does NOT buy peace!
JERUSALEM – Tzipi Livni, who hopes to be appointed Israel's prime minister-designate, said Monday Israel must give up considerable territory in exchange for peace with the Palestinians, drawing a clear distinction with her rival, Benjamin Netanyahu.
She told a convention of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Organizations, "we need to give up half of the Land of Israel," using a term that refers to biblical borders that include today's Israel, the West Bank and Gaza. [3]
From the Mandate for Palestine in 1922 to UN resolutions UNGAR 181 and UNSCR 242, the legal right for Israel to this land is secure by law. [7]
ISLAM of course has other ideas, and plans to move the seat of the revived Caliphate to Jerusalem, so Palestinians are a tool to keep applying pressure on Israel.
Meanwhile, after 60 years, the Islamic world has realized the war against Israel has NOT gone well for them, so why not hold a World Conference to debate the issues.
And where should such a conference be held?
Why, in the UK, of course!

On the 3rd March 2009 C.E. it will have been 85 years since the destruction of the Islamic State, or in other words 85 years of tyranny, oppression and injustice. For over 1300 years this magnificent superpower dominated world affairs and introduced a law and order that lifted the masses from the darkness of man-made law and into the light of al-Islam. This special conference will be dedicated to providing an in depth overview of the Islamic State, its past, present and future as well as emphasize the need for all Muslims worldwide to struggle as much as they can for the sake of Allah (SWT) to implement the Shari'ah on the earth. Will help for Gaza be on the agenda? Don’t hold your breath!
Conclusion
So UNRWA was established over 60 years ago with a one year mandate to support refugees from Israel.
Today it’s conduct suggests that it should be closed down as it has failed miserably in its objectives, and has openly promoted hate through its School programmes. It has failed to utilize the housing constructed by Israel, openly lies about HAMAS to the UN assembly, and has allowed UN ambulances to transport their fighters during the conflict with Israel.
The conduct of UNRWA is a disgrace whatever way you look at it.
It should be condemned by the UN and replaced with another body.
Could UNRWA be the worst agency in the UN?

The West, by its generous funding of UNRWA, is actually fuelling the war against Israel by supporting massive population growth.
The average woman in GAZA still bears six babies.
By generously supporting UNRWA's budget, the West assists a rate of population increase that is 10 times higher than in their own countries.
UNRWA is benevolently funded by the U.S. (31%) and the European Union (nearly 50%). One result of this unlimited welfare is an endless population boom.
Consider the financial support to Gaza:
•the West pays for schools, medicine and housing
•UNRWA pays not only for the refugees, but all their descendants
•Muslim nations supply military hardware
•Saudi money pays the family of each ”sicide bomber”
•Iran pays Hamas for each rocket fired into Israel
Unrestrained by such necessities as having to earn a living, the young have plenty of time on their hands for digging tunnels, smuggling, assembling missiles and firing 4,500 of them at Israel since 2006.
Surely it is time for the west to assess the level of funding given to UNRWA.

Without massive Western (especially US) funding, the UN couldn't function. And the headquarters are in New York, so why can't the US give them notice to quite, then bulldoze this monument to hatred and oppression.
Interesting how, despite claims by Muslims (and anti-Semites) that Israel ethnically cleans Palestinians, their numbers have grown exponentially. this is also due to the fact that under the UN, a Palestinian refugee includes not just the original refugee but his descendants for ever. I think this is the problem with most of our leaders. This is the essence of the pernicious moral equivalence and refusal to make judgments. On the face of it, they seem noble ideas, but of course if you refuse to discriminate between a tyrant and a victim, or between totalitarianism and freedom, you are in effect enabling tyranny and totalitarianism.
We must judge. We must affirm that freedom trumps tyranny and decency trumps barbarism.

I find it strange that the PA is touted as moderate and decent, when its leader, a holocaust denier, is just as much supportive of terror as Hamas is. Just because he doesn't openly support killing Jews doesn't mean he doesn't support the idea.
Arafaat too was the master of double speak. In a way, Hamas is preferable, because at least they are honest about their intentions.

Regarding UNRWA: As the 1930's rolled on, more states began to join the Nazi madness and came to be known as the Axis. It was universally despised.
I feel an incredible shame that Australia still participates in this Axis of Evil. Due to our forced compliance with other UN dictates, Australia has taken in some of the worlds worst Middle eastern trash and we have provided them with fully funded, unaccountable lifestyles separate from the law that governs the rest of us.

Booth fired up the crowd by calling for the closing of the Israeli Embassy in London, accusing Israel of “blasting” women and children with chemical weapons, and exhorting the Moslem community to “bring 40,000” to their next anti-Israel protest in “the middle of your city.”
