We’re all familiar with Emirates, which has become part of the Australian landscape. From Emirates Airlines to sports sponsorship, their logo is as familiar as vegemite and lamingtons. In Melbourne, it’s common to see trams covered in adverts for Emirates, and even the iconic Melbourne Cup has been renamed the Emirates Melbourne Cup.
For the last few years, Emirates have been aggressively sponsoring sport in Australia. The marketing people at Emirates are well aware of our passion for sport, which here in Oz is almost a religion.
What better way to exploit this passion than incorporating their religion into our sport? Of course, they can’t do this openly, because we might smell a rat. Better to get us used to associating Emirates with sport – simple really if you have countless $$$billions to play with. Once we are nice and easy with it, then will come the sharia sting in the tail.

1. The United Arab Emirates (UAE), a federation of seven emirates, has no democratically elected institutions, political parties or general elections.
Australia, also a federation, is a democracy, with political parties and general elections.
2. The UAE restricts freedom of speech and the press, free assembly and association, and restricts religious freedom by banning proselytizing of Muslims.
Our government has no such restrictions (except in Victoria, where the Racial and Religious Tolerance Act is used to prevent criticism of Islam.)
3. UAE law does not prohibit trafficking in persons. Trafficking in women and girls used as prostitutes and domestic servants, men used as servants, laborers, and unskilled workers, and very young boys used as camel jockeys, are serious problems.
Our law prohibits trafficking in persons.
4. Courts sometimes impose flogging sentences on Muslims (except in Dubai), and onnon-Muslims, found guilty of adultery, prostitution, and drug or alcohol abuse.
No flogging here for these acts, most of which are not even considered criminal in Australia.
5. Each Emirate administers Shari'a courts, which act in accordance with traditional Islamic law and practice. Muslim women are forbidden to marry non-Muslims. In such cases, both parties can be arrested and tried. However, Muslim men are free to marry all women "of the book."
In Oz, men and women can marry a partner of any religion or none.
6. The law prohibits, under penalty of imprisonment, criticism of the Government, ruling families, and friendly governments, as well as statements that threaten social stability.
In Oz, criticism of the Government, and indeed anyone else (except Muslims, whose sensitivities we must defer to) is the norm.
7. UAE prohibits Muslims from converting to other religions. Although non-Muslims in the country are free to practice their religion, they are subject to criminal prosecution, imprisonment, and deportation if found proselytizing or distributing religious literature to Muslims.In Oz, you can convert to, or out of, any religion you wish, and are free to try and persuade any who will listen to accept your faith.
8. The law permits men to have more than one wife, but not more than four at any given time.
Fornication is a crime.
In Oz, you can only have one wife at a time - but that’s usually more than enough for most men!
Fornication, though considered by some morally wrong, is not a crime.
9. Coeducation is prohibited in government schools and universities.
In Oz, mixing of the sexes is the norm in schools and universities.

Emirates Air sponsors the Melbourne Cup and many major events in Australia. Worldwide it spends US$200 million a year on corporate communications and sponsorship.
While other airlines are struggling, Emirates keeps building, with 45 of the new giant A380 Airbus aircraft recently ordered. Critics say this is only possible because the company is government owned and is propped up by government oil dollars.
The fact is: Emirates is Dubai and Dubai is Emirates.
Aviation writer, Tom Ballantyne comments “ It really doesn't matter much which sport you look at, you will see Emirates, whether it's premier league soccer in the UK, horse racing all over the world, it is sponsoring Team New Zealand in the next America's Cup Challenge, golf, everything, you'll see the name Emirates.”
In all they've spent about $75 million in sponsorship, starting with the Australian Cricket team in the World Cup of '99, now it's horse racing, Aussie Rules, and symphony orchestras. (Link1 , Link2 )
Talking of horse racing, Australian racing's most lavish supporter, Bob Ingham, recently sold his vast Woodlands Stud to the ruler of Dubai for more than $460 million, which will result in Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum's Darley Stud dominating the breeding and racing of thoroughbreds in Australia. Ingham and his late brother Jack established Inghams Enterprises and made a $1 billion fortune from turning a nondescript chicken farm in Sydney's south into an Australian success story employing around 7000 people. The brothers also built the biggest racing and breeding operation in Australia.
Sheikh Mohammed is the world's biggest owner of thoroughbreds, and he will now have two studs in the Hunter Valley along with one in Victoria and the Inghams' Cootamundra farm. (reference)

You might argue that an expansion of international business is good for Australia. We live in a free society and share an interest in promoting global trade.
A new book, Moral Markets, edited by Paul Zak, would support this argument, claiming that market exchanges work because they rely on character values such as honesty, trust, reliability and fairness, a set of shared values essential to the functioning of modern economies.

Yes, money talks. Also, people are taken in by a glossy facade and don't realise what is behind it.
Behind the glitz and glamour surrounding the shopping at Dubai and the super extravagant Emirates Tent there lies something extremely distasteful, where human lives count for nothing and are trampled underfoot by cruel tyrants.
Emirates stand for exploitation of non-Muslims and even non-Arab Muslims. It stands for racism, sexism and everything that decent Aussies should be totally opposed to.
Don't fall for the slick marketing; it's time the truth came out.

Yes, it's way past time the lid was lifted on the UAE and other Islamic enterprises which are operating in Australia with impunity.
As soon as they buy out an organisation, they buy that organisation's complicity in the Islamisation of Oz.
As you say, we need to expose their impact on Australian banking and finance, also the halal food industry which is rapidly buying our farmers and food producers. Not to mention the effect of pouring vast amounts of money into our cash-starved universities. Then there's the ports and our transport system.
Who knows what influence they have on our media - for instance, not so long ago Al Age used to be The Age, a reputable newspapers that gave Victorians the news. Sadly, no longer.
They have successfully infiltrated virtually every aspect of Australian life, including our churches, judging by the number of Easter "Christian/Muslim" services.

If you read the papers, watch TV etc, you will be blissfully unaware of how Islam is infiltrating our society by stealth, like a cancer spreading quietly through our country. In a sense, I feel helpless as most politians dont want to know, and newspapers wont print anything that is derogatory to Islam.

Yes, it is frustrating. The media publish only glowing reports of Islam. Even the Bashir outrage was hardly mentioned (not at all in Al Age)
Any ideas? Well, we must keep on keeping on. We are making inroads - the public are more aware now than a few years ago - and we just keep cracking the shell until it opens wide and reveals the evil within. Websites like ours help, plus brave people like yourself who are prepared to speak out to others.
Once we break the PC taboo which is strangling open debate, I reckon the floodgates will open.
While we're on the subject of money buying influence, the Interfaith lobby in Melbourne is dominated by the Islamic Council of Victoria, linked to CAIR in America.
An article "Funding Ties with HLF and Foreign Donors Show CAIR's True Agenda" by Steven Emerson should sound alarm bells here. But our stupid govt and religious leaders are so busy sucking up to Islamists and getting on the gravy train, they just don't care. We need to expose and shame them at every opportunity.
"The Council on American-Islamic Relation (CAIR)'s financing over the years challenges its self-description as a benevolent group out to protect the civil rights of the Muslim community in the United States.
The clichéd admonition to "follow the money" gives a clear picture of the group's actual role as an enabler for organizations linked by the U.S. government to Islamic terrorism, prominently including the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development (HLF).
It shows a two-way flow of support both to and from HLF, which since has been named as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist Organization and indicted on charges of providing material support to Hamas... after the murderous attacks of 9/11. CAIR's website, advising readers "what you can do for the victims of the WTC (World Trade Center) and Pentagon attacks," urged them to donate to charities that included HLF.
- CAIR claims it does not receive funding from Saudi Arabia and other foreign sources. Yet the records tell a different story.

Well, STONE THE 'MAGPIES!!'
A friend who lived in Dubai while her husband was there on business refused to cover completely and was spat on as she walked in the street---apparently she was lucky to be only spat on!
A claim has been filed in the US on behalf of 30,000 child slaves against Sheik Mohammad bin Rashid al-Maktoum (Prime minister) and his brother Hamdan (Minister of finance and industry) though it will have little impact on these guys!
UAE banks wired half the funding for sept 11th attacks. The UAE collects massive taxes from non-muslim companies....etc yet their wealth doesn't remove the millions living in slums and the semi-slavery and violence to non-muslim workers! Glaudy hotels cannot hide the reality that this is a vicious, repressive, barbaric society where individual freedom, equality and human rights don't exist---women are still workers in the private brothels of muslim men!
Their oil wealth enables them to run many flights and extract money from many as they are forced through Dubai instead of elsewhere. I refuse to fly emirates and state why to travel agents---including the fact that you never know when the pilot will do his bit for allah! I have passed through Dubai twice but never spent a cent--the last time I didn't even leave the plane!

Most Aussies are now aware that 'something' is happening to their country over which they feel are powerless to prevent, and that the Muslims have something to do with it. That 'something' needs to be spelled out to them very quickly and very graphically.
A community TV channel would be useful here to spread the word. And by word, I mean messages that are politically incorrect!
We are less than three years out from the next federal election and time is running short to get everyone up to speed.
The ONLY way that we as a nation can effectively curtail the march of Islam in this country is by electing a party that is fully aware of what Arab money and Muslim immigration is eventually going to do to us.
Anyone of you reading this comment now has the opportunity to support a growing party that is now at a stage in its development that it is generating and attracting interest from other smaller political parties with similar goals. That party is the Australian Protectionist Party (APP) which unlike other smaller parties now has branches in all mainland states and the ACT.
We are steadily growing and should be in a position to contest the next federal election, but we need your help. We need members who are willing to join and spread the word amongst the nation. We also need donations from private persons and not from businesses as mainstream parties do. We believe those parties which receive massive donations from the financial or business sector do not have the publics best interest at heart.

Anyone of you reading this comment now has the opportunity to support a growing party that is now at a stage in its development that it is generating and attracting interest from other smaller political parties with similar goals. That party is the Australian Protectionist Party (APP) which unlike other smaller parties now has branches in all mainland states and the ACT.
We are steadily growing and should be in a position to contest the next federal election, but we need your help. We need members who are willing to join and spread the word amongst the nation. We also need donations from private persons and not from businesses as mainstream parties do. You raise an excellent point about "charity" from oil rich Islam countries.
Often when muslims attack me about the evil USA, I ask them what aid did Islamic countries provide say, to the tsunami in Indonesia, or drought relief in Africa, or to needy third world countries, and it is met with total silence! They never consider this, and when I state it is the USA, UK, Canada, Australia etc (all infidel countries) that provide aid and humanitarian support, they are silent.
I remind them that the Quran instructs them to give to the poor, but it gets lost in translation.

Like you, I refuse to fly Emirates. the last 2 times I've enquired for a flight to the UK, Flight Centre have suggested Emirates. I tell them I will not fly with a RACIST airlines!

For instance, we do not support a ban on all immigration, just immigration of Muslims, as many living in e.g. Somalia, the Sudan etc are victims of Islam.

"SHOES with the word "Allah" written in Arabic on the soles have been confiscated in the United Arab Emirates for being offensive to Muslims.
Consumer protection inspectors in Ras al-Khaimah, one of seven emirates that make up the UAE, took the action after a shopper lodged a complaint, Gulf News reported today.
"The name Allah was clearly noticed on the soles of the shoes and they were seized and destroyed," said consumer protection official Hamad al-Shamsi.
The manager of the store selling the shoes was given a heavy fine and forced to sign a pledge not to "display products that hurt the sentiments of Muslims", the newspaper reported.
Ras al-Khaimah is known for being conservative in comparison with its neighbouring emirate of Dubai, which is vying to become a regional tourist hub."
