(Note: I wrote this tribute in response to a special request from the editors of Faith Freedom International on the occasion of its new-look web site.)

 About ten years ago, while surfing the internet, I chanced upon a web site named Rational Thinking. The name was not so attractive, that I would indulge plenty of time reading its content. Nevertheless, I read the preface, a few essays, and spent several hours searching other information. It was unbelievable that the site was dedicated to expose Islam. For many years, I had fragmented ideas that Islam has its dark side. I was not sure, however, because I dared not ask such questions to anyone, lest I offend a Muslim.

 Born a Muslim, I knew such questions are blasphe mous, and might be fatal. At that time, I thought, I was perhaps the only Muslim who had doubts about Islam’s teachings. When I read those essays, all authored by Dr Ali Sina, I was completely astounded. I could not believe there are people who also have similar ideas about Islam that I have, and who are intrepid enough to confront Islam head on. At that time, apart from another site, secularislam.org I did not find any other web sites who dared to criticize Islam.

Just to remind you.

The mainstream press are now in full swing reporting Israel’s attacks on Gaza- in isolation from the true beginnings of this new round of attacks. Let us recall that  some did report its beginnings, even if they forgot it soon afterwards.  Some noted that even BEFORE the truce had expired, the rockets were coming from Gaza:

But the Israelis took this pre-end of truce quietly – until this:

Three Qassam rockets fired from Gaza on Tuesday struck the Israeli border town of Sderot and its environs, causing no serious injuries but constituting the first serious breach of a five-day-old truce between Israel and Hamas, the Islamic group that controls Gaza. (source)

This is a postcard from a friend in Egypt –a warning for those travelling in Egypt and a warning for those who think Islam tolerates any other religion.  This is life in a Muslim dominated country where the ancestral people—the Coptic Christians- are brutally treated.   Couldn’t happen here---don’t you believe it as members of other religions and their buildings are already attacked throughout the west!

A report on the attack states:

“One thousand Christians were today trapped inside the Coptic Orthodox Church of the Virgin Mary in West Ain Shams,Cairo, after more than twenty thousand Muslims attacked them with stones and butane gas cylinders. The Church's priest Father Antonious said that the situation is extremely dangerous.

The Muslim mob that attacked the church blocked both sides of the street and encircled the church building, broke its doors and demolished its entire first floor. The mob were chanting Jihad verses as well as slogans saying: we will demolish the church" and - We sacrifice our blood and souls, we sacrifice ourselves for you, Islam". (source)

No, this article has nothing to do with South Africa, but a lot to do with Western Australia. In order not to integrate further into our community and remain as isolated from Australian values as humanly possible, the Islamic community of Western Australia has come up with a proposal to create an Islamic paradise in the West.

The Muslim-only housing development will cost approximately $10 million dollars, stated Abdul Jalil Ahmad, the Islamic Council of Western Australia’s religious advisor.

“In South Africa, because of apartheid, all different communities were set up and it worked well.” (source)

One of my most fundamental beliefs is that the Pen is always mightier than the Sword. However I am sad to announce the demise of one of the bravest and most loyal subjects of England, Lionheart, who has succumbed to death threats and is discontinuing his Blog site. It may come as no surprise that the threats to his life come from the “Religion of Peace”.

Lionheart has been a constant source of information about the Islamisation of England, and the destruction of his home town of Luton. It will come as no surprise that Luton has been overrun by Pakistani Muslims and is NOT the place that Lionheart loved growing up.

Like many Australians, my parents are of English extraction, with my mother coming from the south and my father’s family from England’s north country. My mother was a trained soprano and liked to talk about the excellent choirs in England, especially the Luton Boys choir. Imagine if you can, in the sixties, the angelic voices of the young boys singing hymns in a magnificent Anglican church. They were world famous!

The massacre in Mumbai - too early to be dogmatic but then again….

Introduction 

One of the many frustrations of being an ex-intelligence officer is that you never really get it out of the blood: it's a common enough phenomenon and certainly not confined to intelligence work.  As I'm not actively engaged in that field in a formal sense, I am denied information, which the authorities probably have that would flesh out the whole affair.  Furthermore, I cannot claim any great expertise on the countries involved in this terrorist attack.  It has been two weeks since the terrorist attack in Mumbai and the figures of those killed is still unknown.  I have seen a low of 165 and an open-ended 200, but the figure as of 10 December was 179 and are still somewhat rubbery.  

More disturbingly, reports from India suggest that 15 terrorists came ashore from a rubber boat and only nine bodies and a captured terrorist are accounted for, which raises the possibility of another attack.  And I expect that was very much on the mind of the authorities when the hoax call was made on 6 December which prompted the news wires to fairly hum and radio stations to report that an attack had been carried out at New Delhi airport.  Such was the heightened state of alert that the hoax call was taken seriously and rightly so. Unfortunately, the latest news from India suggests the hoaxer was in the pay of Indian intelligence - if this is the case, then it is a very dangerous red herring!
